Who can benefit from IASIS micro-current neuro feedback treatment?
Everyone! There are two categories of prospective clients, the first being those who are suffering chronic pain, anxiety, depression, ADHD/ADD, PTSD, seizures or migraines. The second category is people who want to optimize their brain function, IASIS MCN optimizes the brains function through neurons regulation, neurogenesis, and neuroplasticity. In summary it can be helpful in improving sleep & energy and memory, and decreased irritability, tension, stress, brain fog and sadness.
How many sessions are required before noticing an improvement?
This varies. For some individuals, noticeable change may occur in 1-3 sessions while others require more treatments before they notice a change.
As treatments progress, the benefits from your session tend to last longer. For this reason, it is common to increase the time between sessions, until until treatment is no longer required. Initially, some opt to have 2-3 sessions per week. The total number of sessions will vary from person to person but a common number of treatments ranges from 10 to 20, with possiblity of more based on your provider’s determination and patient feedback. The goal is to graduate the patient however so they no longer require the treatments.
Should I stop my medication while undergoing treatment?
No! This is not a medical treatment. It works in conjunction with other treatments and all medications and any and all changes should be guided under the direction of your physician.
How does IASIS Neuro Feedback work?
Micro electrical current is sent to the brain from an Electroencephalogram (EEG) unit connected a a computer containing software to analyze the brain activity and control the EEG device. The EEG emits a delta wave signal or Theta wave signal which is comprised of the brains dominant rhythm/wave and adding an offset wave. The new signal is then back to the brain, creating a new rhythm that regulates the previous dysfunctional brain rhythm. This eventually brings the brain and body into homeostasis, a balance of self regulation maintaining internal stability while adjusting to changing external conditions, resulting in improved cognition, better sleep, better mood, emotional regulation, and more. Additional effects are the body re-regulating it’s autoimmune and autoinflamatory conditions, which improves immune function and appropriate inflammatory response.
