Mommas who have children who struggle with anxiety….

My name is Rachel and I wanted to share my honest experience with IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback provided by Bibianne Galuzny, owner/provider of Neuro Harmony Therapy.

Bibianne is a dear friend, and I trust her with everything, so when we were talking about my children’s anxiety issues one day, she mentioned IASIS and how she could help. I hadn’t heard about this treatment before, so of course I did my research on it and decided to give it a try myself for my own severe anxiety that I had battled with for most of my life.

At first, the changes were small and subtle, and I honestly wasn’t sure if it was working for me, but Bibianne would ask me followup questions, and in hindsight I could see actual significant changes happening over the course of my treatment! As we increased my protocol and my treatments got stronger and longer, I noticed more palpable changes. I was on the max dose of one anxiety medicine and was having to rely heavily on a second “as needed” medicine and was thinking about asking my doctor to add a third medicine. The first thing I noticed was that I hardly needed my “as needed” medicine at all (now I’m not even using it!)

Then the last time Bibianne increased protocol, it was like a switch flipped and she had found my “sweet spot”!! With the help of my doctor, I have weaned off of my daily anxiety medicine and I am doing great! I’ve had anxiety all my life, but have suffered SEVERE anxiety for over 15 years with no real relief after trying all the medicines and all of the therapies and all of the things. I NEVER thought I would see the day where I didn’t need medicine at all!!

Some other significant changes I have seen that I was blown away by:

- A massive decrease in migraines, which I have had regularly all of my life. I am confident that with ongoing maintenance treatment, these will stop completely, or only happen once in a while! (I was having 4-5 migraines per month regularly!)

- The fog has lifted! I just felt like I was in a perpetual state of brain fog, but since we found that sweet spot in my treatment, I am finally thinking clearly and just feel like my brain is functioning better overall!

- Energy….I had none….I have 5 children and a job and a hectic life. This is another thing that I noticed a major change in once we hit that sweet spot and the switch flipped! I wake up refreshed and ready for the day and even in the evening I’m still going!

Side note: I was a pot-a-day coffee drinker, and sometimes I don’t even finish my first cup!! I crave water, which has literally never happened in my life!

- Sugar cravings - I’m an stress-eater, and my drug of choice is sugar. My stress hasn’t gone away, I guess I’m just better equipped to handle it now and don’t feel the need to turn to sugar!

- Improved sleep - I was always a super light sleeper, and now I’m having dreams, which means deeper sleep, and I’m waking up feeling rested.

Just one more thing before I wrap it up. Once I kind of knew what to expect, I asked Bibianne to treat my children who have anxiety. My 11 year-old daughter’s anxiety was so bad that we had to pull her out of school to homeschool this past year. In a nutshell, she has improved significantly to the point that she is excited to go back to school in the fall!!

Same with my 5 year old son! We weren’t able to send him to Pre-K because of separation anxiety, but I’m confident that he will do well in Kindergarten this fall! Another big change with him was that he had a very short fuse and explosive anger (which I realize that he’s still learning how to regulate his emotions) but again, it’s like a switch flipped and he is the most lovey, cuddly kid now!!! We can’t believe the difference!!
